The Spice is always a lovely place to go for food in Ames. The staff are very friendly and the food comes out quickly. I go every chance I get! Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is on facier side and price is on the higher side Thai beer is just like and bear Thai tea is sweet, nice spice taste, nice note of cream Chicken Satay Says the chicken was marinated in curry powder and coconut milk, has a slight bit of spice on the tongue, better dipped in the peanut sauce for more flavor Pad Ka Prow Duck The duck was good. Asked for skin on, most pieces were juicy. Spice on this entree was perfect. I'd recommend everytimep Spicy Peanut Chicken The peanut chicken was like the Chicken Satay but sausce thicker and has more of kick to it. The spinach side help balance out the meal. I would have needed a lil more rice. The rice was really good. Recommend for dates Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

After moving here and exploring Ames I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy good Thai cuisine anymore, boy was I wrong.Must unbelievable part I have to say was the portions. Me and my girlfriend could have split the pad Thai If I hadn't liked it so much I ate it all!Not only that, The Spice Thai Cuisine has close to the best Tom Kha Yum soup I've ever had, and it has amazing curries too. If you want Thai food, or a curry, or just some good rice you got to go here!
