Nice small place to have breakfast. We got Curry leaf-scented seafood broth curry and they're homemade cola. The broth is not what I expected for curry, it's a clear broth. It still taste great with their other items. I recommend the cola as it is quite tasty and herby. Not recommend the side dishes because the main is already a complete meal. I was getting sick of having hotel buffet everyday so decided to explore outside of the hotel for breakfast and found this place. I tried one of the few breakfast options which were just 3 of them but whatever I got was so amazing. I couldn’t tell the name of it bc they were only written in Japanese. My dish was just an explosion of different spices and flavors from ingredients. I really appreciated that I could taste all the ingredients without overpowering . This type of dish is probably something I can’t find even in San Francisco so I loved having this and tempted to come back tomorrow. My husband and I dined at Spice Gate for dinner on a weeknight. This hidden gem is located upstairs, at the top of a spiral staircase. The menu caters for chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian/vegans. It's an intimate restaurant with a small store if you want to take spices home with you. Well priced and the food was fresh and full of flavour.
