Decided to try this out. Would say it's a decent meal. Wouldn't say that the saffron rice is an attraction but I did really like the papadum. Decent curry for the price.

The food is tasty, but no where near authentic. Have come here a few times for an Indian food fix as the turnover is good, but it is certainly not the best I have tried in Melbourne.

Spice India is a disappointment. The saffron rice tastes odd. (GMO - Not implying anything). The flavours of the curry are unauthentic and the meat is often the outskirts of the animal. The meat is cut way too big and stringy. If you are slow with your ordering, the cashier will open her mouth, and stick out the teeth on the left hand side of her mouth and stare you down like an alien. Geez, attitude is not part of customer service.
