However, it's worth going all the way there, the place from the outside is just a sandwich shop, but when you get to the door inside (next to the phone) that looks like the freezer door, you start thinking it's not. So, you use the phone, and tell the girl who answers how many are there in your party (the less the better because it's not super big, I don't know if the outdoor area is heated in the winter). After a while she comes out and if you're lucky you get a table.
The place inside is great, darkish, OK decor, I loved the bar roulette table, the nice inner courtyard and the cocktails, they have a great list (OK prices at about 10 euros) and they are very good, with great names, ingredients and presentation. It didn't give me the speakeasy-vibe, just the door part, but inside the atmosphere is just relaxed, like in any normal bar. On an autumn Saturday evening (around midnight) the average age was mid-twenties, there was even a birthday party going on - perhaps that's what killed the speakeasy mood but still, it was a nice experience and I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Rome.
