Absolutely outstanding roast dinner at Spitroast Smithdown today. There were three of us eating and every plate was superb. The beef was beautifully cooked – tender, full of flavour and covered in rich, proper gravy ( more jugs of gravy available free on request) . The Yorkshire puddings were huge and crisp, the roast potatoes were spot on, and the seasonal veg was fresh and well balanced. The sweet potato mash excellent. We also added cauliflower cheese and festive pigs in blankets, which were both superb. Generous portions, great presentation , atmosphere was relaxed , staff friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a Sunday roast.. Superb roast dinners and we left absolutely stuffed xx – we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
