Spizzico is a local restaurant staple for our family; it has always rated well with our children. For years we have understood it to be a very good italian restaurant, however, we did no fully appreciate the how good until our recent return from Italy. Family consensus is that Spizzico is a higher quality of food (particularly the gnocchi) than the majority of Italian restaurants we visited in Rome and equivalent to many of the Napoli restaurants (Though napoli price:quality is hard to beat). Last night; we enjoyed Carbonara with fresh fettuccine, Sausage Ragu with Gnocchi, Parma Pizza (with red sauce), Toscano pizza, Polpette, and garlic knots. We left full, happy and looking forward to our return. Maybe best pizza in Annapolis. True char, great toppings and great crust. Solid Italian favorites. Detroit pizza with a try. Casual atmosphere. Monday night large pizza specials. Slices at lunch. Closed Tuesdays. Busy most of the time. Great find. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
