I just moved to the Springfield area from Florida and previously lived in New England. I love seafood and was optimistic about the dishes based on reviews and many. Without exception, this is the best food I’ve had OF ANY KIND I’ve had since moving here. The Tuna Bombs are amazing. Fresh, perfectly seared, and beautifully presented. I also love the back story! Split Social Kitchen is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Springfield — and that’s saying a lot. I eat here often. My wife and I joke that whenever we’re hungry and want something we know will be amazing, this is where we end up. The food is consistently mind-blowing — creative, bold, and executed at a level you just don’t expect unless you’ve been here. The atmosphere is just as good as the food. It’s relaxed, fun, and somehow always fits the mood — whether you’re in a nostalgic, pop-culture kind of headspace or just want a great place to sit back and enjoy an incredible meal. It never feels stale. One of the things I actually love most is that the menu rotates. Yes, you’ll miss old favorites… but every time something rotates out, something new comes in that becomes your next favorite. It’s a great excuse to go back again and again. I’ve traveled extensively and eaten all over the world, and I don’t say this lightly: Split Social Kitchen is a gem. If it were closer to my house, I’d be there even more — and I already make the drive regularly because it’s that good. If you want food that will genuinely impress you, service that feels dialed in, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, this place is the real deal. I recommend it to absolutely everyone.
