Even though I haven’t personally visited or dined in at Sponge, I’ve had the chance to try their food on several occasions through birthday celebrations and sponsored medical lectures, and the quality has always been impressive. Their cakes are consistently delicious, the short eats are very well made, and both the chicken and fish fried rice have been genuinely tasty every time I’ve had them. I’ve also placed an order over the phone once, and the service experience was smooth and pleasant. While I can’t comment on whether the service is always at that level since it was only a single experience, it definitely left a good impression. Overall, based on the food quality alone, Sponge is clearly a place that takes pride in what they serve. Definitely recommended! Their savouries and short eats are really tasty, and the outlet is clean. Delivery is reliable too. Their platters are a great option for gatherings. I’ve tried their cakes a few times. A total disappointment the portion size is extra small. The ribbon cake slice isn't worth the price. I don't recommend anyone to uber/pickme cake slices it was a total waste of 600/= . cake was also quite dry and the icing is drizzled with a lemon sauce which totally give away the ribbon cake vibe pure didissatisfaction.
