Spring Coffee. Blk 531 Upper Cross Street #02-60 Hong Lim Complex,. Singapore 050531 Location ***************. This cafe is nestled on Level 2 of Hong Lim Complex. To get here, use "Exit F" of Chinatown MRT station. Food / Drinks ***********************. I ordered a Hot Cafe Latte (dine-in) and a Blueberry Lemon Butter Cake slice for takeaway. The hot cafe latte was customised to a single shot of espresso, as per my usual preference. It was well-crafted — smooth, creamy, and beautifully balanced, without being too acidic or bitter. The milk was perfectly steamed, giving the coffee a velvety mouthfeel. The Blueberry Lemon Cake slice, topped with a layer of blueberry jam, was buttery, soft and moist — a deliciously fragrant piece of pound cake with a gentle citrus tang. Decor / Ambience *************************. The decor palette hues are a soothing mix of green, white, grey, cream and brown. ︎The overall design is minimalist yet cosy, giving a clean and refreshing vibe. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas ️ ideal whether you prefer quiet time inside or people-watching from the open space. The washroom was clean and comfortable to use --- something I truly appreciate in cafes located in older buildings. Service *****************. The young girl at the counter who took my orders was Adriel. She was patient, nice and pleasant throughout. The coffee baristas who crafted my cafe latte — I didn’t get their names, but they were friendly, polite, and seemed genuinely warm in their service. Overall Impression ________________________. I paid via Visa for both my items. This is a lovely cafe space tucked inside a downtown HDB complex — surprisingly calm and well-maintained. I visited after lunch hours, so it wasn’t crowded nor hectic. If I pass by this area again, I would certainly go have a cup of coffee at Spring Coffee again. ️ 27 Oct 2025 Monday.
