Disappointing experience. The food was greasy, and the salmon didn’t seem fresh. Service was also very slow, with orders taking too long. I’ve been to many sushi restaurants, and unfortunately, this was not one of the better ones. Hopefully, the owner takes the feedback seriously and improves the food and service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: CA$40–50

I recently visited Spring Sushi and had mixed feelings about the experience. The sushi itself was fresh and very good. However, many of the other dishes we ordered were overcooked, which was disappointing. One thing to be aware of, especially if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, is that some of the rice contains butter. I have a dairy allergy, so this was important information that wasn’t obvious. For the price, I didn’t feel the overall quality matched what we paid. While the sushi was enjoyable, the rest of the menu didn’t meet my expectations. I hope they can improve the consistency of the cooked dishes, as the sushi shows they have the potential to offer a much better overall dining experience.
