Went in for food at 1pm on Sunday. Only do breakfast. Waited and waited. Other people served first. Chef being told off holding a can on red bull in the corner. Avoid !! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The manager/head chef was so welcoming and friendly, instantly served us and seated us wherever we wanted. The food is lovely and not badly priced either. He was happy to serve me gluten free and he said he takes it very seriously so I would 100% recommend celiacs to this cafe! Very quick service and no waiting around to get your bill and pay. I’m pretty sure it’s dog friendly too but I’m not 100% sure. Also the parking is great. Will definitely return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available. Parking space: Plenty of parking

I had the pleasure visiting Spring Tides for the very first time just a few days ago. It was recommended by my friends, who joined me for breakfast, on the very same day. We were warmly greeted by Darren and seated on some very comfortable seats at a very clean table with not too much “stuff” on it. Breakfast tables have a habit of being “cluttered” but not here. Looking around the restaurant area it was extremely clean and tidy, and it didn’t have that “greasy spoon” smell about it. In fact everything was very pleasant and very comfortable. The menu choices are wide and varied and there is also a “specials” board offering some very nice things as well. The service was 1st class from start to finish and the food in terms of presentation and portion size were just perfect. In terms of value for money I would have been happy to pay more than the menu price. I was quite surprised that it wasn’t more expensive compared to other restaurants offering the same, or near to it. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure to dine there. I can strongly recommend Spring Tides together with Darren and the team alongside him, who make eating and chatting a real pleasure. Thank you Darren. We will be back very soon !
