If you're stationed at or visiting RAF Lakenheath and haven't hit up Spudz yet, you're seriously missing out!! This spot (which can be both a food truck that travels the bases, has now become a permanent location in the BX!) They serve fantastic baked potatoes and a variety of other great options. We're talking perfectly baked spuds that are fluffy inside, crispy outside, and piled high with fresh, flavorful toppings! The food is so good. Everything we have ordered is always a generous, hearty portion. (My favorite item to order is the loaded baked potato, but they even have nutritious options like yams for those looking for something a bit healthier.) The value is great for the portion you get and let's be honest, it's unbeatable for the area. I really want to give a shout out to the incredible staff! They are what really sets Spudz apart. They're genuinely friendly, welcoming, and make you feel like you're their favorite customer, every single time. You can tell they love what they do, every time I visit, or even walk by, they take the time to chat, say hello, happily give spot-on recommendations, based on what I'm in the mood for, and treat everyone like family. It's that rare place where the service matches the quality of the food, and it makes the whole experience worth it. I've recommended Spudz to everyone I know on base, and I'll keep bragging about it where I can. If you're in the mood for something delicious, filling, and served with a smile.... go into Spudz... you will be happy you did. All the stars, all day long. Get loaded ;) you deserve it!
