If you have never tried Australian cuisine, you should order a table at this cafe. Stain may please you with nicely cooked bacon roll, sandwiches and beef. Good cupcakes are one of the menu items here. When visiting this place, it's a must to try great coffee or delicious fresh juices.
At this spot, you can order food as a takeout. A lot of people say that the staff is pleasant here. Visitors mention that the service is enjoyable here. Prices at this cafe claim to be affordable. Come here for the cool atmosphere. But many Zomato users didn't give Stain a high score.

Slow service, hard to catch the waiters attention. Sourdough was just a sliced piece of white bread. Ordered bacon benedict and the potato rusti was not in the plate, then paying we asked the owner of the restaurant and she said oh yeah we ran out. Thx for letting me know after you've served it and I'm paying

I live down the road from here, been a few times, and to be honest with all the new cafes opening up around them I would definitely say SKIP Stain@thehill and head to Dachshund Coffee, or the less hip-looking Chicho's Cafe if you care about your coffee more than the kind of place you sit in.When Stain@thehill first opened they were fine - the owners were onto it. Then the woman owner stopped coming in as much, the man owner is still there all the time, they got rid of the young, bubbly waitresses and hired a bunch of useless Indians (cutting costs maybe? I am not being racist btw, I'm stating the facts from my experiences there). For example, one afternoon the cafe was dead and the old woman from the retirement village (bless her!) down the road was sitting next to me as I sipped my coffee. She ordered a strawberry milkshake. The employees, who were more interested in watching something on an iPhone than preparing her milkshake, took FIFTEEN MINUTES to get her a milkshake, working on no other order in between. And the owner man kept harping on about shutting down and going home, when they were still opened for a few more hours. So unprofessional. Never been back since, and don't intend to.So why am I writing this review? Because I'm about community. The street is full of elders from the retirement village and if you don't put the loyal customers first, then you don't deserve the customers. My end advice: Dachshund Coffee has much better energy, skip this place and head there, or to any one of the other places. Support the places that support the community, peace :)
