Passing by The Bell Tower, visit this restaurant. Nicely cooked gyros have a nice taste. The success of Stamna wouldn't be possible without the accommodating staff. Many people have noticed that the service is good. From the visitors' point of view, prices are medium. The atmosphere of this place is nice. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

Stamna is achieving things I've never before experienced in Greece. Unfortunately, all of those things are utterly awful. Wanting a quick lunch, we stopped and took a table on the waterfront. The very nice environment is the only thing going for Stamna and it is of no credit to them. We ordered two pork gyros portions and Stamna achieved the quote remarkable feat of making the worst Gyros either of us have ever eaten. A shockingly small amount of pork, that almost certainly came from a packet, and was microwaved until rigid. In any other circumstance, the small portion would have been an insult, with this quality of food it was a blessing. The pitta was bland and limp, there was no tomato or onion (salad consisted of week old sliced lettuce - again almost certainly from a packet). Chips were crispy but felt and tasted like they'd been fried in month old oil. To add insult to injury, once we'd fought our way through this ordeal the waitress announced that their card machine wouldn't work unless we waited ten minutes while it got fixed. After ten minutes had passed she claimed that they'd been waiting two days for it to be fixed and she'd ring the technician again. Felt very much like being forced to pay cash which meant a trip to the ATM and a charge to withdraw. At least the waitresses admitted everything was awful, even if unwilling to do anything about it. A terrible experience from an establishment that is a complete waste of prime real estate. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

This place looked promising and traditional. We only wanted a snack so ordered gavros, tzatziki and some wine. The gavros was just about acceptable but came on a bed of fries that looked as though they were yesterday’s leftovers. We mentioned the desiccated food when we came to pay but the proprietor was unapologetic and said ‘it wasn’t his’. I don’t know what that meant but presumed he’d outsourced it from somewhere. In any event he seemed unconcerned at our poor experience and still charged the full amount. I couldn’t be bothered with argument over a relatively small amount but was appalled by the attitude as well as the quality. Some other people nearby appeared to be attended to properly and their food looked ok but we were treated poorly. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–25 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
