Avoid at all costs. Bouncer asking everyone where they come from every single time, commenting on accent. Pack of locals hanging out around the entrance with a hostile owing-the-place like vibe. Evolving into the extra right wing den of the town.

I’ve been coming to the Star Inn since I was 18 – that’s 17 years now – and it truly feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is second to none, with a cosy and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. The staff are absolutely brilliant – so friendly, warm, and always up for a chat. They really go the extra mile to make everyone feel like part of the family. The jukebox is fantastic, packed with a great selection of tunes for every mood. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint or a lively evening with friends, the Star Inn never disappoints. It’s more than just a pub; it’s a proper community. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!
