Had an excellent birthday meal at Star of India. Staff were welcoming and attentive but not overbearing and the food was amazing. A really good range of well-known and signature dishes cooked to perfection. The food was piping hot also, which can be rare these days. Really good value for money also. Best things about this restaurant is they leave you alone to enjoy your food and are not constantly interrupting with checking the food is ok or upselling dishes. Food was nice and service very good. A gem of a meal! Popped in yesterday for a takeaway and was not disappointed. Dhal, Biriyani, Bhaji, Brinjal and Papad, everything was delicious. 10/10 will definately be back!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
