8/11/24 First time here & ordered a mini fish sandwich combo. The girl was told (in Spanish) to cook the fries longer so they could be crispy....they weren't. They were still soft & mushy, & I had to ask for a dipping sauce. There were about 12 fries in the order. She served the drink too quickly (right after giving me a receipt). I didn't have a chance to tell her Not to serve it. I usually ask for it after I'm finished with the food....so it won't be watered down by the time I drink it. They had 2 TVs on (80s music videos & a nature channel). I tried to sit where I could see & hear the Nature Channel. However, 2 men sat at a table in the middle of the room. One of them talked loudly & almost non-stop. There were a few flies in the building. Great overall! Went during a lunch rush. And they were still quick with it. Good friendly fast service. Cool diner vibe. Had the regular starlite burger. And it did not disappoint. My dad used to take us there 30+ years ago and it was great, but it's not what it used to be. Food is decent at best, chicken tasted like it was fried in the same oil as the fish so it had a fishy flavor. I guess the grumpy man that used to take your orders ran it differently, I remember him since I was about 12, mind you I'm 49 now. RIP grumpy man Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
