Ok...so this isn't my closest Starbucks, but it's the only one I will go to now. Aside from the people that work there being amazing, they always make our drinks consistently perfect they go above and beyond making you feel welcome. For the employees at the Kroger starbucks. The two girls that were working this evening (3/13/26 3:30-4:30pm) decided to argue about my drink. I ordered two DECAF carmel frappuccinos(coffee flavor), and was made two carmel CREAM frappuccinos (no coffee flavor). I nicely brought it to the employees attention, instead of correcting the mistake she decided to insist that that's how it's made. Wrong, I've worked at Starbucks before (15 years actually). The decaf frappuccino requires decaf espresso in place of the coffee base. (I called partner resources to confirm the recipe hadnt change, they confirmed no changes had been made) so I tried to explain to the girl, but she insisted on being right, and even said " you're supposed to specify you wanted decaf because that's $1.25 extra". Well I hope they retrain this girl because she is making drinks incorrectly. And no there is not supposed to be any extra charge. Licensed stores still follow the same recipes as legit Starbucks. And yes by standard the decaf recipe substitutes decaf espresso shots for the coffee base. (Please see photos for facts) Next time just say sorry, check your recipe reference to ensure you make drinks properly. I was giving her grace and was met with rudeness. Also, I wasn't going to leave this review, but the talking crap to the fellow coworker is not ok. I will no longer support this store. All the good employees have left, now I see why.
