I’m very disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks location. I ordered my usual decaf coffee and asked to have it made with protein milk, as I do at other Starbucks locations. I was told that using protein milk was against company policy and that they could not make my drink that way. What was especially frustrating is that I order this same drink every morning at other Starbucks locations and have never been denied the option to use protein milk. I’ve always been able to order my decaf coffee with protein milk without any issue. This is more than just a preference for me. I had weight loss surgery, and meeting my daily protein goals is an important part of maintaining my health and following my nutritional needs. Having the option to add protein milk to my coffee is a simple way that I incorporate additional protein into my day. I understand that individual locations may have policies they need to follow, but the inconsistency between locations is very frustrating. If this truly is a Starbucks-wide policy, I would appreciate clarification because other locations have consistently provided this option to me. I hope Starbucks can address this inconsistency and ensure customers receive clear and consistent information across locations.
