Honestly, one of the worst Starbucks experiences I’ve had. We came in yesterday at around 7pm. The café was practically empty, there was no queue and nobody waiting behind us, so there was absolutely no reason for the level of careless and rude service we received. My sister and I ordered two LARGE HOT coconut matchas, with syrup added to mine. Somehow we received two ICED matchas in takeaway cups, one medium and one large. So not exactly a small mistake. We politely explained that neither drink was what we had ordered and repeated the order. The member of staff said he would remake them, but then told us one would still be medium. Why? We ordered and paid for large drinks. Only after checking with his colleague did he agree to make it large. Then one of the remade drinks was AGAIN served in a takeaway cup despite us sitting in. When we pointed this out, instead of simply serving the drink properly, we were handed a mug and told to pour it into the mug ourselves. Seriously? The mug wasn’t even full once we did. The second matcha was then practically slammed down in front of us with an attitude as if making the drinks we had actually ordered was some enormous personal favour. Mistakes happen. Getting an order wrong is not the reason for this review. It’s the attitude afterwards that was completely unacceptable. There was no apology, no basic customer service and absolutely no attempt to make the situation right without making us feel like we were being difficult for expecting the drinks we had actually ordered and paid for. The café was almost empty. Nobody was waiting. There was no rush. So I genuinely cannot understand what justified this attitude. If customers asking to receive the correct size, temperature and drink they paid for is considered an inconvenience, then there is a serious problem with the customer service at this location. What i find fascinating is that there is so many staff. That they trip over one another, its like watching a tank full of fish. They also don't have a clue, this isn't the first Starbucks I've visited. There appears to be a "Drive through" priority, face to face orders get mixed up and every body is serving/preparing beverages. There doesn't appear to be any coordination Meal type: Other
