The ambiance is amazing and the drinks are good when the staff makes them with care. I find the service to be fairly moody which is a bummer because I want to spend time here, but 50% of the time the barista/bartender has an attitude for no reason, especially when ordering an overpriced coffee. I was overlooking the prices at first but the inconsistency in treatment, especially for someone coming in regularly, is a big turn off. I live super close too so I want this place to thrive, but the service needs a higher standard for kindness. I hardly ever have a negative experience with hospitality people in Austin, but this place could use a culture adjustment for how they interact with patrons. $10 for a coffee and negative energy is not the vibe, but I’ll happily pay $10 for a coffee and kindness. Over the last month or more the service for coffee in the morning has completely went down hill. I really love this place and I walk here often but whatever changes they have made over the past month or two we’re not the right ones. Coffee has been wrong multiple times the last month. The time it takes to get a coffee has doubled if not tripled. I wish I wasn’t writing this but hopefully the right person sees this. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
