Starship feels like an old Kobe yoshoku restaurant that is still moored in Motomachi. It is not the best restaurant in the city, and should not be judged alongside Asahi or Ippei. Its strengths lie elsewhere. The restaurant has the atmosphere of a long-running Western-style eatery, where omelettes, beef stew, demi-glace and hayashi rice matter more than fashion. The room has a port town feel, with wooden features and a quiet sense of another time. It's not just decoration. The age of the place becomes part of the dining experience. Nevertheless, the food must reflect that atmosphere, and the best way to experience the restaurant is through the demi-glace omelette or beef stew rather than side dishes such as cutlet or chicken nanban. It is a good place to make memories. It's a small yoshoku shop located in the Motomachi arcade.
