incredible food, incredible service. After reading the menu online we knew we had to visit this restaurant, from the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant, very friendly, and very knowledgeable about every element in every dish, even explaining where they source their produce from, before we ordered. most elements on the menu are handmade in store with fresh local produce and it shows. there were only 2 chefs we could see on a busy night but we had no wait time, and some of the best food i could’ve imagined, truly amazing. the dry age wagyu beef tataki was one of the best dishes i’ve ever had. Stars n Cacio is truly a Kyoto hidden gem. We happened to stumble upon this restaurant on TikTok and are so glad we did. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was exceptional. Would highly recommend to tourists! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is amazing. This is the best breakfast in Japan. The staff was very accommodating. We even had the opportunity to have a great conversation with the owner and chef. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000
