If you happen to be around Central United Methodist Church, visit this bar. You can share perfectly cooked sandwiches with your friends and have a good time here. Definitely recommend getting the state bar preshow pass for whatever event, they have drinks based on songs from the artist of the event at the Fillmore, really good service and kept up with everything that was going on Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They are trying. This is not the old state bar... Yet. Waitress seemed to not be enjoying life, took forever to take my order following a tigers game,they were not busy at the time. Once the bar filled up a little, it didn't get much better. Limited inventory and drink selection and called last call at 5:15 on a Saturday. I will give them another chance but the first experience was mediocre at best... Did not have any food so cannot rate Price per person: $10–20 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Horrible. They use THEIR LIQUOR, so no matter what you buy here it will be their liquor unless you request for something different. We ordered an espresso martini which was their liquor and it was $20. It was a bottle of espresso martini. Horrible! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
