Love this spot! The food is always so tasty. I'm a big fan of getting a whole variety of the small plates to share. There aren't a ton of great tapas restaurants around here, but State Room always scratches that itch. The acoustics can be a bit loud, but overall the lively atmosphere is very enjoyable. Finally a decent restaurant in San Rafael. I had bad luck all week other than my dinner here. First, the service is great. Friendly and professional all the way, along with great support staff to make sure everything is taken care of. I had the dungenous crab sandwich and it was absolutely incredible. Fresh, delicious, and the perfect amount of food. The fries are great too. For dessert I had the strawberry cobbler. Amazing. Absolutely devine. I highly recommend The State Room. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
