Visited last weekend around mid afternoon and was surprised how much they packed into a small town museum, the local history exhibits on the old rail line were genuinely well curated. The building itself still has that gorgeous old train station character, high ceilings and big windows that let in great light for photos. Staff were friendly and clearly knew the history inside and out, happy to point out details I would have walked right past otherwise. Parking right out front made it an easy stop, and honestly for a place this size the quality of the displays caught me off guard.

We stopped by Station Arts Centre last Saturday afternoon while passing through Rosthern from out of province and were pleasantly surprised by how much history was packed into that old train station building. The volunteer at the front desk took a good ten minutes to walk us through the local railway exhibits and some of the backstory behind the artwork on display, which made the whole visit feel personal. Parking right out front was easy and free, which is a nice change from the city. The gallery space upstairs had a really cozy, small town atmosphere that made it one of the more memorable stops on our prairie road trip.
