I recently visited Stavlos, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Right from the start, the service was lacking; we weren't even given a drinks menu when we sat down. We both ordered the smashburger. To be fair, the burger itself was actually quite tasty. However, that’s where the positives end. The fries that came with it were absolutely terrible and completely unappetizing. On top of that, they don't even include any sauce with the fries—you have to pay an absurd €2.50 extra just for a little bit of sauce. The biggest issue, however, was their shady billing. We were served water at the beginning, which immediately gave us a bad feeling about hidden costs. We eventually asked for the drinks menu and took a picture of it, which clearly listed the water at €3.00. When we received the bill, they had charged us €5.00 for it. We confronted the staff with the picture of their own menu, but they were completely unhelpful and flat-out unable (or unwilling) to refund us the difference. Good food doesn't excuse deceptive pricing and bad service. I do not recommend eating here unless you enjoy being overcharged and arguing over your bill.
