It’s been a few weeks since I tried this place, but I can’t seem to get it out of my head. We came through the front door unknowingly just a few minutes before closing time. The owner was there and greeted us warmly anyway, introducing the menu. We offered to come back a different time out of respect, but he convinced us to stay. We got our sandwiches and they were actually incredible. We ate outside with our dog, who got a complementary snack of sliced turkey. It’s rare to find a restaurant that has 10/10 service AND 10/10 food, but this one has it all! Next time I find myself in McCall, I’ll make it a priority to come back (earlier in the day though haha). Thank you so much Stax!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered the Philly, bread was very good, meat cheese onions and peppers tasted great, house horse radish spread was a nice addition. Would have like a more between the halves of bread. Homemade blue berry lemonade was very good! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I can't comment on sevice or atmosphere as my sandwich was brought to me by a loving home owner. When your sandwichs best flavor kick has a half inch long sold fiber stem in it(yellow pepper)you no longer belong in McCall. Food: 3
