Ok this place is a gem. In a sea of taco joints this place STANDS out. The Gordita is a nice different option that not a lot of other places have. Everything is very clean, the food is presented well, and the staff is nice. Prices are surprisingly low as well! Will be back. Highly recommend.

During a road trip to Las Vegas, we stayed the night in Phoenix. We were looking for dinner on a Sunday night and not many places were open at 9:00pm. We found Steak Taco nearby our hotel and the reviews looked decent. The two gentlemen working were super friendly and helpful in navigating their menu. I decided to try the carne asada and pastor tacos. The asada was good and tender and with the salsa bar selections, I was able to spice it up as I desired. My fav of the two was definitely the pastor. I could have put away a 6 pack. Definitively recommend Steak Taco and we’ll be back again to try other menu options. Give them a try next time you’re in the Valley of the Sun. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
