One of the best places to have lunch in this busy area. I had the pleasure of have rice and curry here today and I am so very satisfied about the food quality, portion size and the service. Food was delicious and quite healthy. Unlike some other rice and curry places all the curries had its own flavor rather than the same spice mix taste. Okra curry was fresh, cooked nicely and tasty. That was the highlight among many more. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture but it was so nice. Restaurant was very clean, spacious, nice atmosphere, calming. Service was also very friendly, and swift. Will come again. And I recommend this steam boat branch as one of the best lunch spots in Colombo. Had lunch on a busy weekday and whole experience was very refreshing. Rice and curry place on the ground floor is a one cosy, slow moving, & calm experience. I had a great experience at steam boat Restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a nice meal out.
