Drinks and views were amazing. Priced decent a little under $20 a cocktail. Both got two drinks and tipped to spend right at $100. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $100+ Parking options: Free of charge street parking

The Mountaineering Club was once a great place for a casual drink and special occasions. Now, under new management and owned by the Hilton, things have changed. The quality of food, drinks and service have all gone significantly down, and yet it’s so expensive. We waited 40 minutes to go upstairs for a table because they don’t allow bar service anymore. After being sat down we waited another 30 minutes for food and drinks. We ordered a veggie plate. $16 for a handful of saltine crackers, one slice of bread, and the hummus to come in a 2oz plastic sauce cup. Slow service and automatic 20% gratuity. The beautiful views distract from the fact that it’s an absolute rip off. I miss the way it used to be. Food: 2 Service: 2 Price per person: $20–30
