Cool spot! Got the angry chopped cheese and the spice level was perfect. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was super fresh too and the fries tasted similar to McDonald’s but in a better way. Service was great Emma was a really nice server! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was at the Sterling Place Tavern in North Buffalo, New York last night, where I had the second best steak and cheese sandwich I've ever had. That includes cheesesteaks I've had locally, in the Philadelphia area, and all over the East Coast. The manager, Lucas came up to me before I left and asked how I found out about the place. I told him that I learned about it from Anthony and his page Eat Local New York and that this is honestly the second best steak and cheese I've had anywhere on the East Coast. The biggest reason this sandwhich was so good is because of the bread he uses. Lucas drives 2 hours to get his sub rolls. They are just the right thickness and support the contents very well. Side note, this place was packed full of people when I got here. People cleared out once the Buffalo Bills game was over.
