I love a good Oklahoma draft beer in an upscale environment. What's even better is when you get both those things with side helping of good service. Technically, we got that at the new Stillhouse Bar and Grill. As for the food? After seeing the beautiful food photos on social media about this new Tulsa bar, I had to try for myself. Unfortunately, I was let down. We got as far as ordering appetizers and decided not to go any further. It was evident that there was a lack of care as to what was coming from the Stillhouse kitchen. For starters, we received a plated appetizer with multiple cracks on it all around the plate. Frankly, it is only a matter of time before someone's chewing on a piece of glass or servers cutting themselves. (Because, blood is just so appetizing, right? Not!) Plus, the wonton appetizer is a false advertisement on their menu. They are not wontons. Overall the cracked up plate had more character then the food. According to my rating here I feel that giving an "A-OK" rating is very fair. Because the place delivers on their name--that is first being a bar and second being a grill. I am sure they will see better chefs and/or kitchen management in the future, as this location has seen many different restaurants.
