Our breaded Great Lake pickerel meal was totally disappointing. It was a thin small tail end, was extremely dry, and tasted fishy. It was over cooked, and looked as if it had been previously fried and then refried and it still had the skin on it. Our veggies were good, our Caesar salad ok! Fortunately my salad helped alleviate the dryness of our meal. We had reserved a table with a clear river view however the reservation was not honoured. It took three attempts to find a table that was only just acceptable. The stunning view was not available. A window seat was offered, but the unclean window spoiled the view. The table on the top deck had such a noisy music environment that we had to move to the lower level. We’ve always raved about the food at Stillwaters. So we thought that we would enjoy celebrating an important milestone anniversary with you. In retrospect, we should have simply returned the fish before continuing our meal, but we did not wish to spoil the event. Went two weeks ago, we have been here before and was great both times. This time was a little disappointing. The food was terrible. The scallops Giant tiger shrimp and perch, if your eyes were closed, all tasted the same. The blue cheese steak I asked for medium rare. Came out very well done with a big knife Mark down the center of it. Three pieces of vegetable which tasted a lot like hospital food. The service was absolutely amazing. The environment was great, Although we missed patio season. We both had an old fashion that was made very well. A little strong, but i'm not going to complain about that. I will return during patio season. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$60–70

I went here because I saw a tiktok video so thought of checking it out we drove 1.5hr just to visit this place. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich and gluten free bruschetta with white wine, food was very good, the customer service could be better as the place didn’t feel welcoming, the ambiance and view was okay, would have definitely gone back for the food but the unwelcoming feeling might not let me go there again!
