Just off the beaten tourist path lies Sto Ladoxarto. We were drawn to this place because the prices were great when compared to most of the surrounding restaurants and they labeled themselves as meat professionals. It also wasn't as busy as some of the other main restaurants. Excellent views of the waterfront and of the Naxos harbour, especially at sunset (make sure to get there just before sunset to avoid the crowds). We started with a traditional Saganaki. Salty, citrusy, and delicious. I ordered veal portions while my wife had rotisserie chicken skewers. Food was absolutely amazing. Service could have been a little more attentive but overall we had an excellent experience here and would certainly go back again.
