I’m so disappointed that their steak tips are no longer edible. They have always been my favorite meal. I never order tips at any other restaurant because Stockholders had the best. Not any more. The price for the luncheon tips is now $28. I receive 4 large tips. They looked the same but the quantity of the meat was not the same. They were so tough I was literally getting tired chewing. I spoke to my waiter, he mentioned something about changing meat vendors he removed my plate and replaced it with 4 new tips. No different. Do yourself a favor and don’t order the tips. Don’t usually like to give bad reviews, but just very disappointed in this restaurant I’ve been going there for years, particularly for their prime rib that was always blackened for me and cooked to perfection went in there about a year ago and realized they took the focaccia bread off the menu put on a six dollar roll instead and made that an experience ,but the disappointment is I’ve gone back twice since then a couple of months ago I ordered a prime rib asked if it could be blackened medium well it was blackened and just delicious and flavoring, but it was bloody rare I tried to eat it anyway and then recently last night for my birthday wanted to give it one more chance and try that blackened prime rib again just to see if they could get it right this time cause it was so well worth it when they did ..bartenders were great we were sitting at the bar. I did ask him if I could have it blackened and medium well it came back, seared and had no flavor just very disappointed you can’t do it just say you can’t do it. Maybe there’s new chefs. The place has changed considerably. What a shame was a great place for a long time. The other people we were with also were not happy fish sandwich was lousy ,soggy french fries were very black and greasy look like they’ve been sitting for a while, and the bar was extremely empty at 5 o’clock on a Friday afternoon something just off at this restaurant with the way they’re cooking their food. I do appreciate the help though it was good service thank you. nothing like it used to be. I will say Alba’s is giving them a good run for their money.
