Two MICHELIN stars: exceptional cuisine. Worth a detour!
Very good standard.

Story is a restaurant that continues to evolve rather than merely reinvent itself and its latest chapter saw the addition of a second storey which hosts a handsome private dining room... More info

The two-Michelin-starred Story, located next to Tower Bridge in London for many years, has delicious corn tortillas and soft corn kernels. The overall meal tastes just right and I am looking forward to the next one. The most creative thing is the butter bread. The candle is butter, which melts after being lit. It is fun and delicious to dip into the bread. This restaurant is creative, tastes good, and has good service. I look forward to being upgraded to three stars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We recently visited Restaurant Story for lunch in December, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Originally, we had hoped to book for dinner, but given its popularity, securing a reservation proved challenging. Lunch, however, turned out to be a hidden gem—not at all busy, which allowed for an incredibly relaxed and intimate experience. The food was phenomenal, living up to every bit of its Michelin-starred reputation. Highlights were definitely the Sea Bass and creativity of the snacks - the rabbit sandwich and and oreo are to die for. It was made extra special by the head chef explaining the inspiration and story behind them. The service was outstanding, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. With the quieter lunch atmosphere, the staff had time to engage with us, sharing the history of the restaurant, the inspiration for the dishes, and even chatting about how they're refining their coffee—a nice personal touch! We were even treated to a little tour of the kitchen and the upstairs space, where the first-floor terrace and private dining room offer an ideal setting for a business meeting or an unforgettable party. The food and experience here was absolutely divine. The flavours and presentation of the dishes were exceptional. Whilst descriptively small on the outside, inside it’s spacious. The dining room staff were courteous, warm and military precise with their service. The new venison dish guys was out of this world! The restaurant has a vibrant but relaxed ambiance. We got to meet some of the kitchen staff who were a joy to speak with and my wife was more than over the moon with the gift of a the famous candle lovely evening guys and we’ll meet again!
