I really like the food here-- it reminds me of good home cooking, done really well. My favorite dish is the chicken fried chicken. It is huge! They also have delicious cobblers. My only issue is that the place reeks of cigarette smoke. Its seems like it has been there a long time and could use a remodel, but the food keeps me coming back and I just get it to go for my whole family sometimes... and other times for lunch!

Terrible staff in the take-out area. BBQ sauce tastes sour. Beef was dry. Potato salad was greasy. Coleslaw tasted like nothing but cabbage & vinegar. Not Impressed. Will not be returning

Used to dine here all of the time when I was younger. Started going back recently and have noticed roaches crawling around in the dining room. Lots of cigarette smoke that can be unbearable. Then I saw a mouse under one of the tables. That has to take it completely off of my list. I am sure it is difficult for restaurants to keep critters out but I just can't go back. Food is so-so, anyway. Too bad, it is a great location and used to be a good place to dine.
