Not what I was expecting, was looking for family style, but didn't have big variety. Disappointment. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

waitress was seating me and I asked to sit in a booth. She walked to the next table (a booth) and throws the menu from a distance and storms away. I went to the register, asked to see the manager and was told she's busy sitting with some people. I said I'll wait and she didn't want to get her until I insisted again. The owner comes over, I explain, and she tells me the waitress had a bad day. I told her I would stay but not in that girls station. She seats me and then says "it's gonna be a while cause your waitress is now double seated". I said that's fine I'll wait. A minute later owner approaches again and says it will be a really long time! I told her the other waitress shouldn't treat customers that way and she said no but times are rough, we all are having bad days. Never said I'm sorry or polite in any manner. They didn't want my business so I left.

November 6, we stopped at the Streamliner Family Restaurant and what a nice surprise! We stepped in the door and were greeted with beautiful holiday decorations and music. I know many people would be groaning but mom and I love the holiday season and never tire of it. The next thing I noticed was how well kept with pride it is. It’s a very clean and comfortable setting. Thirdly, we became aware of the pleasant aromas from the kitchen. Entering the dining area we were welcomed and seated, given menus and our beverage orders were taken. The menu was quite extensive with breakfast foods of all kinds, more than a few appetizers and a wide variety of salads, pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, steaks, and chicken. For dessert they offered several different kinds of pie and cheesecake. We had fried chicken and it was very delicious. Its crispy, perfectly fried skin was spot on and flavorful without being too heavy or greasy. The meat was moist and delicious. The sides we ordered, coleslaw and mashed potatoes with white gravy, also above par. The waitress was friendly and attentive but unobtrusively so.I did feel that some items might be a little bit $$ but then others were very affordable (pie, for instance, was $3.15 a slice). In the end, it works out to be about the same as other nice family restaurants. Enjoy!
