I was pretty excited to check this place out, especially after seeing Mark Wiens’ review. What I found, though, was disappointing. A few restaurants, nothing exciting, and definitely not the food mecca described in the review. I crossed the road to the backside of CentralWorld Mall and saw some food and other stands, but again nothing overwhelming — aside from the typical “Farang Special” pricing. Maybe that glowing review was pre-COVID, because what I saw wasn’t worth the walk.
