I used to order from Sterlla online while at work, and the experience was always decent, so my friends and I decided to visit the café in person today Downtown branch — and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. First, we chose a table near the AC because the weather was very hot, but the waiter insisted we move to another table claiming there was AC there too. After we moved and settled in, we found out that AC was actually broken. When we asked about it, he simply said it wasn’t working and that he would increase the cooling from another AC unit. We could have just stayed at our original table. Then came the ordering experience, which felt very pushy. We clearly said we only wanted coffee, but the waiter kept pressuring us to take an offer that included sandwiches. When I specifically chose a sandwich from the menu, he repeatedly tried to force me to order a different sandwich instead. It genuinely felt like I was being pushed toward items they wanted to get rid of rather than what I actually wanted. While we were sitting and trying to enjoy our drinks, maintenance work suddenly started right next to us — drilling noises, strong chemical smells, and people fixing windows while customers were seated. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. The worst part happened when I got home and opened the sandwich I ordered as takeaway. The packaging was already damaged when they handed it to me, and when I opened the sandwich, it was in horrible condition. It looked old, smelled awful, and was completely inedible. I had to throw it away immediately. It genuinely looked unsafe to eat. I ended up paying much more than I originally intended because I was pressured into taking an offer, only to receive food that went straight to the trash. Very disappointing experience in terms of service, professionalism, and food quality. I won’t be return Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
