Beautiful location and views; however the roast lunch was such a huge disappointment for the cost. It was literally a microwave dinner, tinned peas, frozen "aunt bessy" yorkshire pud, roast potatoes resembled school lunch. After ordering the food was served within less than 5 minutes, not fresh or tasty. Once we had finished eating, a couple asked our opinion and they agreed to the food being awful and stated they would only go for drinks. Maybe it is just the roast that is dire...but we wont be returning for food. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking

Had a lovely stay at the Strines Inn. What a superb view from our bedroom window! The four poster bed was a delight. Our room was clean and tidy with a great selection of condiments, including Yorkshire tea, coffee , Milk, biscuits and a bottle of water each. Our stay included a full English breakfast with tea or coffee and juice, which was delicious. Great location for walking and taking in the country views! Would definitely recommend a visit/stay. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
