Today we wanted to visit the bouldering hall with two small children. We didn't, because an entrance fee of €8.50 per 3-year-old child for bouldering is just cheeky! I have been bouldering for years and have visited many different well-known halls nationally and internationally and I have not had to pay admission to any of them for the small children I brought with me. In other halls there are equally good children's areas for bouldering etc. I understand if young people aged 7 and over have to pay admission, as kids of that age or older also get a lot more out of it, but for 2 small children?! The Stuntwerk is probably more of an indoor adventure park (at least that's what the prices suggest) than a professional bouldering hall. By the way: entry for children: 0-13 years = €8.50, i.e. infants, 1 year olds etc. pay €8.50 completely crazy

We would like to make it clear that we only ask active children to pay a fee, as we think it is justified that people who actively use the hall should also pay something for it. In return, we waive entry completely for inactive companions, for example. We think it's a shame that our pricing concept is currently causing you dissatisfaction. It would be nice if you gave the stunt work another chance at a later date. Maybe in a few years, when you think the price of admission for your children is justified? We would be very happy to be able to score points with you with our sporting diversity. With best regards from the stunt crew. More

I've been going to Stuntwerk regularly for over a year, I like the selection of routes and the atmosphere. However, I have the impression that the focus of the hall is increasingly on children's training and families instead of adult customers. If you, as an adult, want to boulder in peace and quiet and without the fear of falling on children running around, the only time you can go is later in the evening or, if you can, in the morning during the week. I think making a wall an “adults only zone” would be a good idea. Unfortunately, not all parents pay enough attention to how close their children climb or frolic under other boulderers. I found this solved better in other halls by separating the areas more.

Our kids training sessions always take place in the afternoon during the week during school hours, that's right. We consider training to be an important part of our hall, not least to teach children and young people how to behave correctly in the hall. If parents come to us with children on their own, then you are right, the parental supervision is not always provided to the desired extent. We have made our team very aware of this in the last few weeks and are working on consistently implementing the rules. Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury of having separate rooms, which is why we instruct parents and children in safety aspects with measures such as the children's driver's license. As I said, we are very grateful for your feedback and will continue to stay tuned to ensure that the implementation of the hall rules and the correct behavior is made even further! Hopefully see you very soon Your stunt crew!More
