I never particularly craved for Subway like crazy back home, but for some reason I do in Japan sometimes. Perhaps I miss the taste of home and familiarity! I really like their avocado and shrimp combo, as well as their tuna sandwich. You can even get egg sandwiches here, but it’s not my cup of tea and doesn’t compare to convenience store egg sandwiches. I like choosing honey oats or wheat bread, toasted with sliced cheese, and all the veggie toppings sans pickles. Chipotle sauce to finish! You can choose healthier options though. Subway in Japan is unique in many ways! Miss the American Subway cookies though.
