If you happen to be around Strossmayer Park, visit this restaurant. At this place you can find Vegetarian and Croatian cuisines. The truth is that you will really like perfectly cooked pasta, tomato soup and seafood risotto. That's a good idea to order tasty tiramisu, parfait and brownies. Amazing food, excellent service. One of the best restaurants anywhere! Must eat the beef tartar served with bread and butter and the tuna steak. Best tuna steak I’ve ever had. Great local cocktails. Favorite restaurant in Split and possibly all of Croatia. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was one of those dinners that you keep thinking about afterwards. Everything we had was excellent. The shrimp pâté was absolutely delicious, especially with the homemade bread, which was remarkable on its own. The shrimp buzara with homemade tagliatelle was probably the highlight of the meal for me: beautifully cooked, full of flavour and genuinely memorable. The Argentine rib eye was excellent, as you would expect from very good Argentine beef, and the Belgian chocolate truffle was the perfect ending. The drinks were just as good: a properly made Negroni and a lovely strawberry gin & tonic, beautifully presented with little dried roses. But what really made the evening exceptional was the service. Maja was wonderful: professional, attentive, incredibly warm and genuinely friendly in a way that never felt forced. Her colleague, whose name unfortunately I didn’t catch (the one with the beautiful earrings!) was equally lovely. Together they made us feel incredibly welcome and turned a very good dinner into a really special evening. There are also little details that give Šug a lot of personality and warmth, including the beautiful image of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal at the entrance, which I personally found very charming.
