Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Cookie Cake around here? There used to be a place in the mall that did them, but malls were killed by bad decisions and private equity, so that doesn't exist anymore. The grocery stores will do them but...if you care about someone you can probably do better than that. In less than 24 hours (and with a quoted turnaround time over the phone of less than 6 hours potentially!), I got a custom cookie cake that is a really good, solid chocolate chip cookie for a very fair price. Icing was just right too, and my friend got exactly what they wanted. The store was nice as well, and a big sign on the wall listed 20 flavors of pies that were available to order, and promised that they can make any custom pie as well. I'll probably try that next time. The chocolate chip cookie was great. The service of the girl working g there was great. She was friendly and knowledgeable. This location was the only place Open in Lansing on a Sunday. So it satisfied my sweet tooth, thank you! However the sugar cookie base of the cinnamon heart cookie wasnot good. It tasted like it was left in your Grandma’s musty kitchen overnight. For a place named sugar shack I thought the cookies could’ve been sweeter...the cupcakes looked beautiful, however I didn’t get one of those. Again, great service..just not the best type of cookie.
