What a famtastic place! The food and drink were presented beautifully on lovely crockery with little detailed touches, and served with real care and gentleness. It was all delicious! It's small, so pot luck to get a seat if you want to stay in rather than takeaway, but this also keeps its character. My new favourite cafe in Exeter!

Suki Cafe is a well-located, casual spot in the heart of Exeter, ideal for a quick coffee break or a relaxed light bite. Its central position makes it an easy stop while exploring the city, just a short walk from landmarks such as Exeter Guildhall. I tried two matcha lattes [ the Apple Pie & Caramel Sea Salt ] —both were well-balanced and not overly sweet, which made them particularly enjoyable. The matcha had a smooth, earthy base, with just the right level of sweetness to keep it refined rather than indulgent [matcha is from Shinjuku, Japan]. To accompany this, I sampled all four Palmita pastries. Freshly baked, golden, and delicately crisp, each had a satisfying buttery finish. The Salted Caramel offered a classic sweet and savoury balance, while the White Chocolate Matcha was smooth and mellow. The White Chocolate Oreo leaned more indulgent, and the Pistachio Chocolate Raspberry stood out for its nutty richness paired with a bright, fruity contrast. The staff were lovely—polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which enhanced the overall experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it suitable for solo visits or casual meet-ups. One practical note: there are no on-site toilet facilities; the nearest option is at Exeter Guildhall, around a five-minute walk away. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
