Fantastic lunch with great service. The lady who was assisting us did not speak English but did her best to communicate with us. Laughter and big smiles. Smaller restaurant, food prepared right in front of us as we ordered. Would highly recommends. The duck hot soba was delicious with rich flavour and tender meat!! Sashimi was extremely fresh. Will come back! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very relaxing spot. It was a good place to come at the end of the day to get some dinner and unwind. The owner is the sweetest and her cooking is divine! You have to try the pork cutlet or the duck! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I didn't plan on doing a review after 5 years of not posting any but sometimes it just works out that way. I didn't mean to stumble into it, I was actually looking for the conveyor belt sushi place that Google said was around there when a staff member stepped outside and asked if I'd be dining there while I was looking at their instagram page. I have never been happier for an unexpected change of plans. This is a very local restaurant and a hidden gem. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were so incredibly friendly. At one point, the chef even danced a little while she was cooking. Not much, but enough to erase all question about being welcome there. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The drink was delicious but the star was the pork cutlet. It was rich and meaty with all the right notes on a bed perfectly cooked eggs and onions in a delicious sauce. For those visiting who don't speak Japanese, they have a QR code on each seat that takes you to the menu you simply order from your phone from your translated language of choice. Don't be nervous about going inside, they are so friendly and if you want to eat like a local and feel like a local--this is the place. I don't know if you can fall in love with a country's food after having one really good dish, but after my meal there I'm starting to think it's possible! I look forward to eating there again soon and I just might have to put it on my itinerary every time I visit Japan. If you're reading this review, you should too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
