SMC was always known for their great buffet, fine and casual dining for reasonable prices. In the past, Casinos used cheap food to lure in gamblers. This is no longer the case. Casinos have decided they need to make a profit on their F&B. SMC has closed their buffet and the Summit. Their prices have gone up and the portions have shrunk. A Reuben with one or two slices of meat. Halibut Fish and Chips with 5 or 6 ounces of fish. A side of Cole Slaw in a butter ramakin. There are still some decent offerings such as Burgers and Salads. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

When: Tuesday Nov 3, 2020; Party of 2 Adults 7:00 pm Wife & I dined here on a weekday night. Mountain View Sports Bar has your typical Sports Bar decor with flat screen TV's and sports memorabilia all over the place. I've been here, pre-covid, during a football Saturday night and this venue was hopping with excitement and atmosphere... On this weekday night, Mountain View Sports Bar was relatively quiet, because of no live sporting events and just handful of patrons dining. My wife had the All-Star Cheeseburger with a Salad and I had an Alaskan Cod Sandwich with Fries. Both handheld meals were kind of messy to eat with your hands, so the both of us had to use a fork & knife to finish the meals...nonetheless both entrees tasted good. Our server, was spotty in customer service and lacked any enthusiasm or energy, that kind of blended in with the atmosphere on this quiet Tuesday night.
