Le Yakitori in Geneva is a cozy Japanese establishment that specializes in authentic yakitori, grilled skewers of chicken, duck, shrimp, and meatballs cooked over charcoal. The interior design is simple and traditional, with a small bar and tables surrounding the grill where the chef cooks in front of you. The ambiance is casual and informal, perfect for a quick bite or a laid-back dinner. The price range is on the higher side, but the quality of the ingredients justifies it.

Located in the Pâquis neighborhood, Le Yakitori is a must-visit for anyone looking for a real taste of Japan in Geneva. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including the kamo (duck), tebasaki (chicken wings), tsukune (chicken meatballs), and tori (chicken) skewers. The miso soup and pickled vegetables are also highly recommended. For drinks, they serve Asahi beer, a selection of wines, and cocktails such as the Tokyo Sour and the Shochu Highball.

Le Yakitori does not have outdoor seating or live music, but the experience of watching the chef cook your food right in front of you is special enough. It's a small place, so reservations are highly recommended. Overall, if you're looking for a fine dining spot that offers an authentic taste of Japan, Le Yakitori is the place to be.

I don’t know what to say BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO! A real Japanese restaurant in Geneva with dishes that take you on a journey and are delicious! The service was also very friendly, the young waitress very friendly and helpful and the chefs in the kitchen simply adorable and very talented. We immediately feel the difference of a restaurant managed by women who have an eye for detail! ;) Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The first time I visited Geneva probably 10 years ago now I stumbled on this great little Yakitori restaurant. Its a family run business and spending time there takes me back to the traditional Yakitori restaurants that I have been to in Japan. Simply stated, the food is awesome and service delivered with a smile and in the Japanese tradition by the entire family. I enjoyed the seaweed salad (hayashi- wakame) to start followed by an array of fabulous Yakitori skewers including kamo (duck), tebasaki (chicken wings), tsukune (chicken meatballs) and of course tori (chicken). Of course Asahi beer is available and was served perfectly chilled. The one 'caveat' that I would add is that you do pay Geneva prices...so one shouldn't expect an inexpensive night. You will easily pay 70-80 CHF  per person...but well worth it!!! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Geneva!
